"Story of the Messiah" Six-cd Audio Set/Companion Book Now Available
11/07/2007
MENLO PARK, CALIF.--"The Story of the Messiah," a beautiful and inspirational interpretation of the life of Christ in a six-CD audio set and illustrative companion book, is now available from Sine Ministries at www.messiahstory.com.
The program combines the history of Jesus from the four Gospels of the Bible (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) into a dramatic audio presentation. The 71/2-hour chronology begins with the birth of Jesus, and ends with the Passion of Christ, his Resurrection and instruction to the Disciples to spread the word of God worldwide.
The audio version of "The Story of the Messiah" is told by Maxus, a wise storyteller, to an inquisitive young boy, Andrew , along with 27 additional voices, sound effects and an original musical score. The program is formatted into 28 episodes, each 15 minutes long.
The collector's edition companion book is an adaptation of the audio script. Each chapter is illustrated with artwork by renowned master painters and modern artists. Maps are included so readers can better understand the settings. Events are referenced to their Gospel passages, and an index of events and a study guide are in the book's appendices.
"We created 'The Story of the Messiah' so people of all ages can easily follow the chronological life of Jesus," says Max Rondoni, author and project director with Sine Ministries, a non-profit charitable organization based in Menlo Park, California. "No other program is available that relates all the Gospel events as one. Using an old man to tell the story to a young boy makes it possible to provide a seamless narrative that gives listeners and readers a better understanding of the Gospel story."
"'The Story of the Messiah' is a wonderful example of how this ancient, beautiful story can be winsomely, accurately and beautifully packaged for our modern generation," says Charles Colson, founder, Prison Fellowship Ministries. "This story is grounded in history and firmly rooted in the Scriptures."
The six-CD audio program is $39.95. It is also available as an MP3 download. The CD program with an accompanying collector's edition book is $49.95. Visit www.messiahstory.com for more information, preview chapters or to order.
